Together with our OIC MHO, Jenie B Lahora , Undergraduate Students of BS Health Sciences from Ateneo de Manila University paid courtesy visits to the Acting Municipal Mayor, Alfonso Benjie Lahora and Municipal Administrator, Jameco Dayanghirang . They are here in Manay to conduct a research study at the Manay Municipal Health Office of Manay from July 25 to August 1, 2025. The research study is entitled, "Language Discordance in Healthcare Delivery among Doctors to the Barrios and Patients in Davao Oriental: A Mixed Methods Comparative Analysis. " It focuses on how language discordance between the Doctor to the Barrio (DTTB) and local patients may affect the quality of healthcare services.

Yesterday, July 23, 2025 MHO Manay joined the LGU Celebration of National Disability Rights Week being spearheaded by MSWDO at Barangay Manreza, Manay, Davao Oriental. Free Health Services rendered were the ff: -Medical Consultation -Dental (Tooth Extraction and Examination) -Laboratory (Hemoglobin, Urinalysis and RBS) -Provision of Medicines In observance of National Disability Rights Week, MHO Manay is committed in providing the best possible healthcare services by all persons with disabilities to the community it serves.
