DRRM-H Plan Approved by the Members of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council Yesterday, June 27, 2024, at MHO Conference Room, our OIC MHO, Jenie B. Lahora, RMT attended the MDRRM Council Meeting with the Municipal Administrator, Jameco Dayanghirang presiding on behalf of the Municipal Mayor, Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang. During the meeting, our OIC MHO presented the DRRM-H Plan 2023-2025. The DRRM-H Plan was formulated and conceptualized to lead to the mitigation and reduction of health risks and consequences associated with all types of emergencies and disasters in the municipality of Manay. After a through deliberations, the DRRM-H plan was approved by the presiding officer, Jameco Dayanghirang through the motion of Randy Briones, Fisherfolks Chairman and duly seconded by Merlyn Latiban (MSWDO).

Second Quarter Local Health Board Meeting The Local Health Board (LHB) of Manay, Davao Oriental convened on June 26, 2024 in the afternoon at MHO Manay Conference Room to discuss issues on the Municipality's public health services and priorities. Our Municipal Vice Mayor, Alfonso C. Lahora, Jr. on behalf of our Municipal Mayor, Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang, LHB chairperson, presided over the meeting. Present during the meeting were Department of Health Representative DCHD, Provincial Health Officer, Dr Grace CT Berguia, Sir Roger Palec , Chief of Hospital of DOPH Manay, Dr. Ariel G. Maghari, Engineering Water Dept, Engr Anacaya, MSWDO/ Youth Focal Person, maam Marivic Babatid and BHW Federation President, Merlinda Sandayan. The LHB meeting aims to address health issues and improve health care services of the Municipality by proposing legislations and endorsing budgetary allocations for the operation and maintenance of health facilities and services.
