The SGLG is a program established through the enactment of Republic Act No. 11292, and the DILG serves as the lead-implementing agency. It is designed to incentivize and recognize LGUs for their outstanding performance in various governance areas. Last May 27, 2024 the Municipality of Manay thru the leadership of Mayor Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang and the Local Government Unit of Manay undergone the Regional Assessment for the SGLG 2024. For the Tourism, Heritage Development, Culture, and Arts, it was presented and validated by Tourism Officer Jan Michael Belena and MPDO Staff, Tourism consolidator Anna Prescile Mamparo and SB Member Committee on Tourism Hon. Jan Mae Dayanghirang-Llavore,RN. In the performance area, both the Tourism and the Culture and the Arts has been validated and checked with their corresponding indicators. It was noted that the Municipality of Manay has been in the course of implementing projects relevant to the tourism and culture especially the yearly submission of the Cultural Property Inventory in the National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA). Indeed, Manay Tourism, Culture and the Arts continues to implement and collaborate projects relevant to Manay. Suruya da lagi si Manay!

The Manay Municipal Health Office successfully held the Advocates and Knowledge Officers (AKO) Training conducted by PhilHealth Local Health Insurance Office- Mati.The training was actively participated by personnel and staff of MHO, HRH and BHWS from seventeen barangays. This activity will prepare and equip them with the information they need as PhilHealth information multipliers and partner in delivering health services to our constituents.
