The MHO OIC, Jenie B Lahora, RMT was at EMNVHS School Auditorium to discuss with the Senior High Students on Teenage Pregnancy. There was an alarming signicant that this crucial issue be brought to discussion among our teenage adolescent due to the increasing prevalence of teenage pregnancy in the municipality. She discussed on the causes, effects and prevention of teenage pregnancy. By raising awareness on teenage pregnancy, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and connecting them with education and health services, we support the key decisions they make about their futures and bodies. This activity is in coordination with the DSWD 4P's Program Municipal Link of Manay, Youth Focal Youth Coordinator, Maam Marivic Babatid, SKFP Giellan Roy Balante and EMNVHS Faculty and Staff headed by maam Girlie J. Balante, School Principal.

Pursuant to the classification of the Biailan Cave as Type II Cave and with the implementation of the Biailan Cave Management Plan. The team from the CENRO Manay, PENRO Davao Oriental, and USEP Geology in collaboration with the LGU Manay thru Manay Tourism, MENRO, and MDRRMC has conducted Basic Cave Guiding Training last May 7, 2024 at Barangay Lambog Gym. This training is significant in the celebration of 2024 Heritage Month as Biailan Cave was previously being identified as one of the Natural Cultural sites of the Municipality of Manay and have submitted in the Philippine Registry of Cultural Properties of the Philippines. Capacitating our local communities in order the cave to be preserved and protected at the same time can be utilized for income generating activity. The training also highlights the inclusion of the women for the protection and conservation of wildlife through RA 9147 and the NIPAs Law. With this collaborative activity can help protect and preserve our Natural Heritages. Indeed, Wow Manay!
