Ang Municipal Health Office nagpahigayon og Standard First Aid (SFA) Training sa MHO Conference Room sugod Setyembre 25-27, 2024. Subay kini sa pagsuporta ug pagpatuman sa DOH Administrative Order No. 2004-155 nga nagmando nga ang tanang health professionals kinahanglang adunay SFA Training. Kini nga kalihokan gisuportahan sa atong Lokal na Gobyerno nga gipangulohan sa atong Municipal Mayor, Jon Marco Dayanghirang sa pag-organisa sa Municipal Health Office sa pagpanguna ni OIC MHO, Jenie B. Lahora. Anaa sa maong training ang Provincial DRRM H Manager, sir Marion Paulo Ungab kauban sila Maam Amor Hemplo og maam Ma. Tonette Aurora Tan sa Provincial Health Office, Davao Oriental alang sa paghatag sa ilang kahanas, esperensya og kahibalo sa mga partisipante. Tungod niini mapasalamaton ang LGU Manay sa Provincial Health Office Davao Oriental ilabina sa Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Reden Bersaldo sa paghatag technical assistance sa MHO Manay. Kini nga kalihokan gituyo aron magsilbi nga panguna nga depensa sa panahon sa mga emergency o disaster. Nagtumong pod kini nga mahatagan og kapasidad ang tanang health workers aron magamit nila diha sa ilang kominidad og sa ilang panimalay. Ang mga partisipante sa maong training kay mga empleyado sa MHO, MDRRMO, DOPH Manay og BDRRMO Central.

Barangay Concepcion having been one of the eight original barangays of the Municipality of Manay celebrated its 132nd Araw ng Barangay and Celebration of the Fiesta of Immaculada Concepcion with the theme: "Malambuong Kinabuhing Diyosnon Susi Sa Lig-ong Pamilya, Komunidad nga Kanunay Gakauyon, Kauswagan Tiunay nga Mapadayon". This celebration paved way for the 2nd KAYA Festival. The word KAYA derived from those fishes and other fresh water animals catch with the help of "Tangi", a netlike basket used to trap fishes and crabs. The Kaya is also the way of life by the indigenous people of Concepcion and the first thing to do for food preparation. KAYA may consists of Saudnon, Fresh water eel (Kasili), Wabang (Fresh water shrimps), Kimpe (Fresh water crab) and other fishes. 2nd KAYA FEST also included the 1st Search for Barangay Concepcion Model Family. The search, aims to seek for the Family whose actively involved in the barangay activities, their family backgrounds and looking at their sustainance for food by having a backyard gardens. The celebration of Concepcion is a yearly reminder of their Culture of Kaya or the Culture of the Preparation of indigenous foods. Barangay Concepcion's collaboration headed by Punong Barangay Jonefort Bantayan with the LGU Manay headed by Mayor Jon Marco Dayanghirang makes the role of the barangay significant in the progress of the municipality.
