KMME POST ACTIVITIES
The Department of Trade and Industry Davao Regional Office initiated the Development of Promotional Videos for KMME Graduates and NC Assisted MSMEs. The hired videographers suggested an on-site shooting of the process and products of MSMEs for better output. It was noted that Ervin Casagda of Herv Food Products graduated the Kapatid Mentor Me last September 2020. This activity will be one of the opportunities for his products to be promoted and for those other KMME graduates who used their learned skills during the KMME. We would like to thank DTI XI Regional Director Maria Belinda Q. Ambi, OIC Provincial Director Sylvia R. Ordiz, Ralyn Galido of DTI Davao Oriental, Eunice Flores, Monette Baylo and Elycer Remigio of DTI Regional SMED Division and LouWorks Studio. Note: The participants of this activity followed the minimum health protocols of the health department.

BENCHMARKING DAY 2
The Department of Trade and Industry - Davao Oriental Provincial Office for its initiatives in promoting the use of Electronic Business Processing and Licensing System (ePLS) in adherence to Republic Act No. 11032 An act Promoting Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Delivery of Government Services. The second day consists of the BPLO workforce of City of Mati which was welcomed by Mayor Japhet M. Quibo, Municipal Administrator Florentina M. Quibo and Treasurer Lilibeth T. Burgos. This is also in relation with the reminders done by the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) to the local government units (LGUs) of the June 17, 2021 deadline to automate their transactions by putting up the electronic Business One-Stop Shop or the e-BOSS. BOSS is a single-window system that streamlines application forms and submission of documents in government offices in one window only. The e-BOSS, on the other hand, uses the Electronic Business Permitting and Licensing System or eBPLS developed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology allowing the public to perform government transactions online. It also targets to fully automate transactions in LGUs from downloading of forms, using e-signature, up to online payment. We would like to express thanks to Mayor Japhet M. BUSINESS NAME
We would like to inform all people who would like to have a business to register your business' name with the DTI. The Business Name Registration merely provides the business a LEGAL IDENTITY; in order to actually operate the business, you need a BUSINESS PERMIT. The Business Name Registration Certificate from the DTI will also be the primary requirement for the Business Permit and Licensing Division especially that Manay is implementing the Electronic Business Processing and Licensing System of e-BPLS. Also, a gentle reminder to our Manayan business owners to look into the expiration dates of your DTI Business Name Registration Certificate. Be reminded that you have six months after the expiration to renew your business name. You can also have early renewal of your business name registration too.
