A big congratulations to the Mandaya and Manayan composers as they hit again another milestone! The song entitled NCIP HYMN which was composed by Mr. Erwin Lad, arranged by Mr. Franklyn Areglado and sung by Jovil Lagnayo and Jan Joyce dela Cerna have won the coveted award of being the best original song composition that will be used as the National Commission of Indigenous People (NCIP) Hymn. The song bested almost 10 songs from the different ethnolinguistic tribes in the Philippines. This contest is part of the celebration of the 2021 IP Month and commemoration of the 24th IPRA Anniversary. The award was presented thru the Zoom Live of the NCIP Facebook Page with the NCIP Chairperson Allen A. Capuyan. Indeed, Manayans are not only great people but also great songs composers!
