The team from Manay Tourism, Provincial Tourism, DENR-ENRO, Provincial Information Office, Revitalized Police Sa Barangay (RPSB) and 67th IB have conducted the Tourism Assessment and Validation as requested by the IP chieftain Pastor Julio Batunan. The targeted place to be validated were the Soli Falls, Lapinigan Falls Trail and Birdwatching as a potential activity in the area. The assessment was also in support to one of the programs by the Provincial Government in relation to Executive Order No. 70 by the President or to End the Local Communist in the area as well as the Executive Order No. 13. Soli Falls, a falls located within the Philippine eagle sanctuary at Sitio Limentuog. According to the community, it's name was derived after a hunter left his hunted deer in the falls and opted to ask someone to get the animal, anxious for its distance the one that was asked to get the deer asked for a "suhol", thus the place was named as So'oli Falls then later Soli Falls. The watershed areas of the Kampalili range in Sitio Limentuog of Barangay Taocanga and Sitio Maglahos of Barangay PM Sobrecarey contributed to its forceful waters especially during the months of January to March. This falls, together with Tagdalid Falls, located few kilometers away downstream, have the same thing in common. "Misting" and the chance to experience being inside the hunting ground of the forests' top predator The Philippine eagle. Due to tight schedule, the team have decided to take the Lapinigan Falls (trail only) and Birdwatching in day two. The team have validated the potential of the area to birding. Indeed, the tourism potentials of Soli Falls and the activities herein were validating although there were recommendations being listed by the validators. We would like to thank Mayor Japhet M.
