During the said meeting, the agenda discussed were as follows; 1. Re-orientation on the RA 9994 otherwise known as "The Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010”; facilitated by Mr. Efren Danghil , the DSWD Socpen focal person. 2. Clarification on the process of enrollment/ registration; the issue on delisting, the replacement and the revalidation of the qualified senior citizens. 3. The 1% budget (PWD & SC) from the brgy; 4. Schedule for the socpen payout. 5. Other matters. Thank you so much to all the Barangays who have been part of this consultation meeting. Today is Easter Sunday and it is time for all Manayans to celebrate as weather in Manay remains calm however being reminded of the scattered local rainshowers. PNP Manay had provided visibility and assistance in the dawn mass of St. Francis Xavier Parish and San Ignacio Parish together with the BFP Manay. Manay Tourism, MDRRM, and BFP also conducted resort checks this morning to ensure safety of the Manayans, returning Manayans, and tourist. The visit also gave way to check the tourist arrival and the fire fighting and emergency facilities in their respective establishments. Special thanks to Mayor Jon Marco Dayanghirang, PNP Manay headed by PMaj Meliton J. Sango, SFO3 Ariel Cablinda of BFP Manay together with FO1 Ruthelio M Iguana II and FO1 General Alejo O Inoco Jr, MDRRMO headed by Cesar L. Camingue, and Jan Michael Belena of Manay Tourism.
