Pursuant to the observation Semana Santa 2024, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) conducted their OPLAN ALALAY thru deploying their First Aid Services Team (FAST) during the Way of the Cross of the St. Francis Xavier Parish of Barangay Central. The PNP Manay also assisted the event by ensuring peace and order during the procession. MDRRM and Health Team are also on ALERT status for possible emergency calls. Weather in Manay experienced local thunderstorms and rainshowers, the local and visitors are advised to bring their umbrellas with them.

During the delivery of goods (3/18/24) for our Supplementary Feeding Program in all Child Development Centers in Manay. This SFP is the provision of food in addition to the regular meals to target children ages 3-4 years old enrolled in Child Development Centers (CDC) and 2-4 years old children in Supervised Neighborhood Play (SNP).The Supplementary Feeding Program aims to improve and maintain the nutritional status of children enrolled in child development centers or in supervised neighborhood play by providing augmentation support for feeding and intensifying nutrition and health education for 120 days. The budget of this SFP came from the DSWD FO XI downloaded to LGU Manay with a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by the office of MSWDO; the LCE Hon. Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang and the DSWD FO XI Regional Director Atty Vanessa Goc-ong.
