Pursuant to the Regional Caving Committee classification of caves, the Mabaho Cave of Barangay Central is classified as Class AA or those caves that should be visited through guided tours and for scientific purposes. Last October 25 to 27 2023, the University of Southeastern Philippines 4th Year Geology students went back to the Municipality of Manay to pursue their visit to Mabaho Cave. It has been noted that these students already went to Manay's Bonga Cove and Manaol Point, however, Mabaho Cave was not visited due to the inclement weather. Included in their itinerary were Kapuka Falls, Mati City (Dawan), Baganga Landscapes, and Aliwagwag Falls. Special thanks to the USEP Geology for choosing Manay as your fieldwork destination, especially to Geologist and USEP Faculty Christian Paul F. Escarian.
