A Validation on the Local Road Management Performance Assessment (LRMPA) was held yesterday, September 12, 2022 at the Municipal Mayor’s Office. Technical personnel from Regional and Provincial DILG Offices and LGU Department Heads were in attendance. Subject matter experts from the Office of the Project Development Services (OPDS) of the DILG namely, Mary Flor Ilog, Sahara Karleth Ferrer and Mary Grace Socapen briefed the attendees on the details of the Local Road Management Performance Assessment Tool (LRMPAT) and walked them through the form that needs to be filled out in order to complete the assessment. LRMPAT was designed to assess, using objective metrics, the capacity, and performance of the LGU in the area of Road Management. It is invaluable in identifying gaps in local capacities, be it in planning, budgeting, construction, procurement, or project and process management.

The Public Employment Service Office Managers Association of the Philippines (PESO-MAP) League of Davao Oriental conducted its 3rd Quarter Meeting with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) - Davao Oriental Field Office on August 24, 2022, at Oriental Prince Suites and Arcades. The PESO Managers and Job Placement Officers from different LGUs and partnering agencies graced the meeting with the Provincial Director of DOLE, PD Rodolfo T. Castro, in which the DOLE - DOFO hosted the meeting agendum to furtherly discussed their plans and activities in the upcoming months. The members also raised their following concerns and endeavors to imply immediate actions and recommendations.
