The Municipality of Manay commemorates our country's 125th Independence Day. Simultaneous BFP Siren, Flag raising, PNP Manay fire a salute of 21 guns and wreath-laying conducted in Manay Municipal Hall. Manay Mayor Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang said "Isa sa mga paraan para ipagdiwang ang kalayaan ay maging isang mabuting Pilipino, dapat aware tayo sa ating duties and responsibilities bilang isang mamamayan at bilang kawani ng ating gobyerno. Sumunod tayo Manayans sa patakaran ng ating lipunan. Alalahanin natin na ang pagiging makabayan ay nagta-transcend hindi lang sa pagpapakita ng Philippine flag, ito ay nakikita rin sa ating paghahangad na maiangat ang ating sarili."

Congratulations MHO Manay for the successful two (2) days BLS (Basic Life Support) Training held on June 6-7, 2023 at MHO Conference Room. The two days training was facilitated by PDRRMO Davao Oriental and in coordination with the DCHD Davao Region. The methodology used are lecture (F2F) and Demo and Return Demo. At the end of two days, all of the 21 participants that comprises of PHN (1), HRH (12), RHM (6) and Ambulance Drivers (2) satisfactorily received the Certificate of Completion while the remaining two (2) received the Certificate of Participation. Our Healthcare providers are now equipped with the basic knowledge, skills and attitude to perform with confidence the basic life support techniques to save lives.
