MINDSETTING SEMINARS

A caravan of three (3) Business Mindsetting Seminars were conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry in collaboration with the Negosyo Center Manay and LGU Manay thru its BUB-DTI funding for the three associations namely; Yagkauyon ng Kooperatiba ng San Ignacio (April 26, 2021), Holy Cross Lady Farmers (April 27, 2021) and San Isidro Women Association (April 28, 2021). This mindsetting seminar is also serves as a reorientation of the BUB-DTI related activities on the three beneficiary associations. Special thanks to Mayor Japhet M. Quibo for the strong support to the industry. Also to OIC PD Sylvia Ordiz of DTI Davao Oriental, JBC Jovelyn B. TRAINING OUTPUT

Mandaya women of Barangay Rizal presented their training outputs for the accessories making. This outputs mark the end of the two-day accessories making training from the Department of Trade and Industry. It is also hoped that trainees could use the learned skills to make more accessories to be sold for the tourists visiting the barangay. Special thanks to Mayor Japhet M. Quibo, OIC PD of DTI Mam Sylvia R. Ordiz, Punong Barangay Guillerma L. Mariano and BLGU Rizal, Jovita M. Badicong, Jennie Sandayan and JBC Jovelyn Murcia of Negosyo Center Manay and MTIO Jan Michael Belena.

BUSINESS NAME

We would like to inform all people who would like to have a business to register your business' name with the DTI. The Business Name Registration merely provides the business a LEGAL IDENTITY; in order to actually operate the business, you need a BUSINESS PERMIT. The Business Name Registration Certificate from the DTI will also be the primary requirement for the Business Permit and Licensing Division especially that Manay is implementing the Electronic Business Processing and Licensing System of e-BPLS. Also, a gentle reminder to our Manayan business owners to look into the expiration dates of your DTI Business Name Registration Certificate. Be reminded that you have six months after the expiration to renew your business name. You can also have early renewal of your business name registration too.
