KMME

The KAPATID MENTOR ME has been implemented since 2016 as a 10-module mentorship program that optimizes weekly face-to-face interactions between the mentors and the mentees with the key goal of boosting the entrepreneurial capacity of the mentees through improved access to Mentorship, Money & Market (i.e., the 3Ms). With the CoVid-19 upending lives and businesses all over the world, the KMME becomes more relevant and necessary albeit in a virtual or digitalized form. Thus, the KMME ONLINE is developed as the practical delivery mechanism for the same mentorship modules to be used to propel MSEs to survive and thrive in spite of the unprecedented setbacks that now confront businesses of all types and sizes. Negosyo Center Manay became the host for the 1st District of Davao Oriental's mentees with participants came from Manay (3) Ervin Casagda of Herv Food Products, Julyeleven Gumop-as of Angelica Eatery, Julius Roy Padang of Jit & Joy Bakeshop (formerly Pan de Pane San Ignacio), Caraga (1) Marites Yosores of Yano Health and Wellness and Baganga (1) Angelica Manguiob of Jack N' Gel Food Products. The mentees were assisted by Janrey Mulay (NC Caraga), Oscar Empiedad (NC Baganga) and Ivy Codova (NC Manay). Last year, a total of eight ( mentees from the Municipality of Manay graduated from this program. Note: The KMME Online program followed the strict health protocols being sanctioned by the health department.

Negosyo Center Announcements and Public Notices

BUSINESS NAME

We would like to inform all people who would like to have a business to register your business' name with the DTI. The Business Name Registration merely provides the business a LEGAL IDENTITY; in order to actually operate the business, you need a BUSINESS PERMIT. The Business Name Registration Certificate from the DTI will also be the primary requirement for the Business Permit and Licensing Division especially that Manay is implementing the Electronic Business Processing and Licensing System of e-BPLS. Also, a gentle reminder to our Manayan business owners to look into the expiration dates of your DTI Business Name Registration Certificate. Be reminded that you have six months after the expiration to renew your business name. You can also have early renewal of your business name registration too. For inquiries about Business Name please visit Negosyo Center Manay and look for Mark Pianar or Jm Belena.
