44th NATIONAL DISABILITY PREVENTION AND REHABILITATION WEEK 2022

The Municipality of Manay joins the nation during the celebration of 44th NATIONAL DISABILITY PREVENTION AND REHABILITATION WEEK With a theme: "Working with Government in Achieving Equal Access to Education, Employment & Livelihood towards Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.” During the celebration assessment and free consultation to PWDs was conducted in coordination with Davao Jubilee Foundation to determine the appropriate assistive device for them. This activity spearheaded by Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office led by Minda C. Alonzo, RSW and PWD Focal Person Lilian A. Dayanghirang with the full support and supervision of the Local Chief Executive Mayor Jon Marco M. Dayanghirang. Let us continue Advocating the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Provincial Tree Planting Day

Municipal Local Government of Manay conducts tree planting activity at the Municipal Sanitary Landfill in Sitio Caatupan, Purok 25 (Crossing Bagsak) Barangay Central in support to the Provincial Tree Planting Day. MENRO - MDRRMO - MIO employees participated in planting Mahogany seedlings in an effort to raise environmental protection awareness. The activity in an advocacy on the importance of tree planting and serve as an inspiration to the entire community to be committed in the advocacy for a sustainable environment for future generations.
