Despite our current situation, with the COVID-19 pandemic living around us, the Municipal Government of Manay through the Municipal Planning and Development Office was still able to deliver this year’s Municipal Development Council Meeting. On 6th of September 2021, at the Municipal Health Conference Hall was the second MDC meeting. Participated by the MDC members composed of the Manay Municipal Mayor, Hon. JAPHET MANTOG QUIBO , MLGOO Eric Ryan Masagnay, 17 Punong Barangays and the representatives from the Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) with the Municipal Accountant as invited guest who participated and wholeheartedly supported the different projects, programs and activities proposed for the upcoming year, 2022. The targets for this year’s Annual Investment Program were the Development Programs for the following categories: Health, Road Upgrading , Street-lightning Installations, Solid-Waste Management Equipment and other Socio-Economic & Social Services. The minimum health and safety protocols and guidelines imposed by the IATF were strictly implemented such as “No face mask, and proper hand sanitization at all times”. #MPDO #MDC #AIP

Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office initiates a meeting of Action Officers of Brgy. Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BDRRMCs). Topics disscussed are RA 10121 and its IRR, Local DRRM Fund Utilization, and DRRM Assessment of Brgys. in the principles of the Four (4) Thematic Area of DRRM. "BDRRMCs are the Local DRRM Office in Barangays. It is tasks to lead the implementation locally the "owned" strategy for disaster preparedness and risk reduction. It also covers a community-based approach to projects and programs for relief, recovery and resettlement" Mayor Japhet Mantog Quibo said.
