Pursuant to the DOLE-DOH-DILG-DOT-DTI JOINT MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 21-01Series of 2021 also known as the IMPLEMENTING GUIDELINES OF THE SAFETY SEAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM. The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) adopted as the official digital contact tracing application of the government and the institution of a Safety Seal Certification Program to ensure compliance with minimum public health standards (MPHS) and directed the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), with the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to issue the necessary joint memorandum circular to detail requirements to secure a Safety Seal which shall include the adoption of the application and generation of its QR Code to be displayed in all entrances. All of the Primary Tourism Enterprises are under the Department of Tourism. They will evaluate, validate and inspect the tourism enterprises for the strict compliance of the minimum public health standards in order to obtain the Safety Seal. These enterprises also should be an accredited one in order to obtain the seal. As to the 2020 data, there were 9 out of 9 establishments given the Basic Registration and Provisional Accreditation by the tourism department in Manay. This year, since the validity of their accreditations are only good for one year, another round of inspection was done as required to obtain the accreditation. Quibo, Sir Caesar Prudencio Regis of the DOT Accreditations with Joanilee Roda, All of the Tourism Establishments in the Municipality of Manay, Tour Guide Julyeleven Gumop-as, MIO Melanio B. Castro, Jen Jaquez and Rolie Tayabas of MDRRM Manay and Jan Michael Belena of Manay Tourism.

DSWD states that the agency’s flagship livelihood support program, the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), is open to all eligible poor, vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged households. DSWD emphasizes that livelihood opportunities are a powerful tool to fight poverty and inequality. Through SLP, the Department contributes to improving the economic sufficiency of poor households by helping them develop employable skills, secure gainful employment, and earn steady and sufficient financial resources. DSWD has provided eligible individuals with livelihood assistance grants (LAG), a form of financial assistance granted to families whose livelihoods were affected by the implementation of the community quarantine.
